What we collect
Through the forms, only what you type in yourself. The contact form takes your name, an email address or phone number, a subject and a message. The volunteer form takes your name, phone, email, city, the role you are interested in, your availability and a message. The site has no accounts, and we ask you for nothing else. Separately, Google Analytics records how the site is visited — see below.
Why we keep it
Only to answer that request. Every form carries a consent checkbox and will not accept a submission without it — that requirement is written into the database itself, so a record that exists is a record that was consented to. We do not sell your details, we do not use them for advertising, and we do not pass them to anyone unconnected with your request.
Cookies
This site sets `yf_lang`, which remembers whether you read Marathi or English. It lasts a year and holds nothing else about you. Google Analytics sets `_ga` and `_ga_5KSB6LS2CM`, which tell a returning visit apart from a new one; they last up to two years. There are no advertising cookies.
Visit statistics (Google Analytics)
To learn which pages are read and how people reach the site, each page view is sent to Google Analytics: the page address, the page you came from, your browser and device type, screen size, and your IP address, from which Google estimates an approximate location. Google Analytics does not give the foundation your name or contact details, and these figures are not linked to anything you send through a form. Google handles this data under its own terms. You can block it with a browser setting or an add-on; the site works the same without it.
Where it is held
Form submissions go into a database hosted by Supabase and are visible only to authorised foundation staff. The site itself is served by Cloudflare. On the contact and volunteer forms, Cloudflare Turnstile checks the browser before a submission is accepted, to keep out automated spam. These are technical providers; none uses your details for its own purposes.
How long we keep it
Until the purpose you contacted us about is served, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first.
Your rights (DPDP 2023)
You can ask to see what we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, and to withdraw a consent you have already given. The same address is our grievance contact under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023: yungfoundation1416@gmail.com.
Children
Nothing on this site asks children for information; the visit statistics above are recorded for every visitor alike. Children are part of our work, but no identifiable photograph of a child is published without written consent from a parent or guardian.
If you have a question about this page, write to yungfoundation1416@gmail.com.
